The people behind the fund

When major storms hit the Stamford area, including the March 2010 Nor'easter, George put his own time, tools, and craftsmanship into helping families recover and rebuild. That work was never a program. It was a habit, repeated for decades, and it set the pattern the foundation now follows.

George is also widely trusted to lead the kitchen at community fundraisers and large events. Known especially for his porchetta, he has coordinated multi-course meals for gatherings of as many as 300 people, bringing the same precision, calm, and generosity to the kitchen that define his work as a builder and volunteer.

Through Integrità | The Papallo Family Fund, he guides a mission of medical assistance, youth opportunity, veterans support, and community programs across Stamford, Fairfield County, and beyond. He is also a member of CIAO. The olive branch in the fund's mark comes from his family's farm in Ariola.

He serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Stamford Italian Soccer League and helped organize Stamford's Columbus Day Parade before the celebration evolved into the independently managed That's Amore Italian Festival. His broader community work has included Columbus Park preservation efforts, public forums with historians and civic leaders, Stamford's 2020 Back the Blue Rally, scholarship and fundraising committees, national-level social media and youth committees, and the New York City Columbus Day Parade Committee.

Christopher Papallo has also helped foster and place twenty rescue dogs through Pit Stop and Project Precious Rescue, supported legislation focused on pet safety, and volunteered with Environment Colorado. At Integrità | The Papallo Family Fund, he leads partnership development, including a network of more than fifty businesses, league sponsorships, and event collaborations. He is also a member of CIAO.

Throughout her years of community involvement, Rachel was active with a national Italian-American service organization and the Darien Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She helped organize and support fundraising events that provided scholarships and educational opportunities to local students. Through the Ladies Auxiliary, she contributed to efforts supporting firefighters, families in need, and underserved members of the community.

Today, Rachel continues that work through Integrità | The Papallo Family Fund, where she serves on the Board and leads Operation Labor of Love, an initiative supporting active-duty service members overseas and veterans closer to home. She also helps guide seasonal giving efforts for children and families experiencing hardship.

Through Property Girl Home Staging & Design, Rachel continues participating in charitable initiatives benefiting local families and shelters. Her volunteerism, generosity, and commitment to service remain central to the work she carries forward through Integrità | The Papallo Family Fund.

At Mastercard, she has led volunteer initiatives by organizing community service events that bring colleagues together to support local nonprofits and charitable organizations. She volunteers annually with the Afya Foundation, helping sort, package, and ship critical medical supplies to communities in need around the world, and has also volunteered with Make-A-Wish, supporting its mission to bring hope and joy to children facing critical illnesses. She has also fostered rescue dogs through Project Precious Rescue.

In addition, she is committed to expanding economic opportunity by teaching financial literacy to underserved individuals and has dedicated her time to teaching dance to underprivileged children, using the arts to foster confidence, discipline, and self-expression. She has also supported fundraising efforts for a variety of humanitarian organizations. Through both her professional career and volunteer work, Beata is committed to making a meaningful impact by combining leadership, service, and a passion for empowering others.
