Thirty years, and counting

The league marked three decades of its signature tradition with the 30th Anniversary Columbus Day Tournament Finals Celebration at Westhill High School: a free community event, powered by The Papallo Family Fund, benefiting the Stamford Italian Soccer League Annual Scholarship Fund for local student-athletes and the fund's medical initiatives.

It looked the way a Stamford afternoon should. Free food and drink from Mario the Baker, Pausa Caffè, and the Council of Italian American Organizations. Trick-or-treats from Mike's Monsters. A live DJ, play-by-play, and halftime show from Carozza Entertainment. Adoptable dogs from Project Precious Rescue. And in the middle of it all, the finals.
