The people behind the fund

Giorgio Papallo

Co-Founder & President

Born in Ariola, in the Vibo Valentia province of Calabria, Giorgio "George" Papallo immigrated to the United States and built a career as a general contractor while giving four decades to volunteerism and charitable work in Stamford.

When major storms hit the Stamford area, Giorgio put his own time, tools, and craftsmanship into helping families recover and rebuild. That work was never a program. It was a habit, repeated for decades, and it set the pattern the foundation now follows.

Through TPFF, he guides a mission of medical assistance, youth opportunity, veterans support, and community programs across Stamford, Fairfield County, and beyond. The olive branch in the fund's mark comes from his family's farm in Ariola.

Her service includes UNICO scholarship fundraisers and the Darien Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and each holiday season she helps collect and donate gifts for children and families experiencing hardship.

At TPFF, Rachel leads communications and charitable initiatives, bringing the same energy to telling the fund's story that she brings to the work itself.

Community relationships. TPFF works alongside local officials, civic groups, and community leaders through events and collaborative initiatives. We show those relationships through real photographs and stories, never implied endorsements.

Stand with your neighbors.

Gifts of every size keep assistance moving: to a family mid-treatment, a veteran who needs a hand, a kid who just needs the fee covered.
